Dr Warren Shnider

Warren joined the Special Needs Dental Team before the practice was established in Blackburn. He attained his specialist qualification in Special Needs Dentistry from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2006. Warrens works in all areas of SND, but sees patients at our practice through the mobile dental service.

Warren is a committed advocate of oral health for people with special health care needs, and holds several leadership positions in SND in Victoria. He is Head of Unit of the Special Needs Dentistry department at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne, and the Academic Lead in Special Needs Dentistry at La Trobe University. He also holds positions in the Australian Dental Council, the Dental Board of Australia, the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the Australian Dental Association Victorian Branch.

Outside of work, Warren enjoys road cycling, skiing, theatre, walking the dog, and is a member of Scouts Victoria.
