Dr Nikki Liew

Dr Nikki Liew joined the Special Needs Dental Team in 2019. She completed her undergraduate degree and specialist training in SND at the University of Melbourne. She has over 12 years of experience and has worked in a broad range of sectors including public, private and hospital dentistry, domiciliary care and general anaesthetics.

Nikki sees patients at our Blackburn clinic and for home visits. She enjoys taking the time to get to know each of her patients, and working out how to best support their dental health under challenging circumstances. Her clinical interests include neurodegenerative diseases, dental oncology, and interdisciplinary health care.

Nikki is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Special Needs Dentistry (ANZASND), the Australian Society of Special Care in Dentistry (ASSCID), the Disability and Oral Health Collaboration (DOHC) and the Australian Dental Association.

In her spare time, she enjoys salsa, hiking and reading.
